As well as using Snow Foam when I wash the car, I use the Zymol range of shampoo and waxes. I probably spend as much time cleaning where you can’t see as I do where you can. The wheels are always removed to enable thorough cleaning of the wheel arches. The interior is kept as clean as the exterior and because of the floor mats, the carpet is still as good as it was when new, I just keep them vacuumed.
The wheels still have the original anodised finish and are protected using Rim Wax. I have a cleaning cloth for every occasion and a good supply of cotton buds, something from my concours days.
One thing I do to protect the paint and all the front light lenses from stone chips, is to apply paint protection film. I don’t leave it on all the time, but over summer, it really works. Any glue that’s left after it’s removed can easily be removed using a drop of white spirit.
